Homes may charge extra for things like activities, hairdressing or newspapers, so ask about these when you call.

Method v1. It uses only HIQA's published judgments, not our opinion, and is recalculated whenever a new report is published.
Dunabbey House is a well-managed nursing home with mostly single rooms and a friendly atmosphere. Residents enjoy good care, social activities, and good food. The home is clean and safe, though some areas like the sluice room need better cleaning. Residents' privacy is mostly respected, but some shared toilets lack full privacy and medicines are given during mealtimes, which some feel could be improved.
